OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The Wisconsin Blues Music Hall of Fame strives to recognize, highlight and preserve the music, musicians, and productions of blues music writers, musicians, and promoters residing in or having roots in the State of Wisconsin.
Our Blues Hall of Fame offers a direct connection to the genre's rich history and its legendary artists. By preserving and showcasing the achievements of past blues musicians, the Hall of Fame provides inspiration and a sense of continuity for new artists. It also educates Wisconsin about the roots of blues music, helping them understand its cultural and historical significance, and how it has shaped the broader musical landscape. This knowledge can deeply influence their musical style and creativity, ensuring that the legacy of the blues is passed on to future generations.
Moreover, the Blues Hall of Fame often hosts events and performances that give other musicians and the public opportunities to network with industry professionals and established artists.
